Now it’s really worth starting a Game Pass subscription and connecting it to your Riot account, because you can get amazing extras for your favorite games.
For those who might not know, Riot Games’ games slowly appeared last December in Microsoft Game Pass. This not only meant that subscribers of the service can finally know Riot’s games in one place, but the system offers extras that make it really worth subscribing.
For the first time in Game Pass history, the partnership extends beyond PC to include Riot’s mobile-only and mobile-only titles.
The thing is, if you have a Game Pass subscription, you can definitely have a big advantage in some games compared to others if you connect your Riot and Game Pass accounts.
Game Pass membership gives you access to:
- League of Legends (PC): all heroes unlocked
- League of Legends: Wild Rift (mobile): all heroes unlocked
- Legends of Runeterra (PC & Mobile): Free Foundations Set

How?
Linking Xbox Game Pass and Riot accounts is easy, just a few steps. The moment someone starts any Riot game through the Xbox app on PC, the option to link the two accounts or create a new account if someone doesn’t already pop up. Once linked, all Game Pass benefits will be available.
- Make sure you have it installed on your computer Xbox app.
- Open the Xbox app and select any Riot game.
- Click Play or Install.
- From there, you’ll be guided through the steps to create a new Riot account or connect an existing one.
- After linking, the system sends a notification that the benefits are available. This can take up to 24 hours, but as soon as it happens, the aforementioned content is already available.
