Definitely, the transfer window weeks of Racing Club de Lens are still just as hectic! This time it is not about arrivals but only departures.
A departure ?
The Cameroonian striker and former Nice Ignatius Ganago has, despite good performances in the Lensois jersey, never managed to become a holder in blood and gold. Seeing that its leaders did not hesitate to recruit in attack, the young striker would be more than ever on the start. Montpellier Hérault Sport Club are said to be ready to offer the 23-year-old a way out in a team that has ambitions to join in the fight for European places.
Departures.
Pending the possible departure of the Cameroonian striker, the lensois have formalized three departures.
The first of these departures is not just any, since it concerns Jonathan Clauss. The right-back holder of the RCL since 2020, gave everything for blood and gold by allowing them twice to grab 7th place (and narrowly miss qualifying in Europe) and to be called up to the French national team. Tracked by major European clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United or Atletico de Madrid, Jonathan Clauss favored OM to stay in Ligue 1 and start, a godsend since he still has hopes of playing in the World Cup.
???? After two unforgettable seasons ?????? marked by a revelation, confirmation, distinctions up to the tricolor selection… Jonathan Clauss continues his career at the@OM_Officiel.
Thank you for all these emotions, Jo’!

Another heartbreaking departure was recorded on July 19. Present at the RCL since 2012, the Picard Simon Banza definitively leaves his training club. Having never really been able to impose himself with the pro team, the native of Creil multiplied the loans in particular to Béziers, Pétange or Famalicao. After this very good last experience, Simon Banza remains in Portugal since he joins Sporting Club Braga.

Sang et Or since he was 16, @simbnz continues his career in #LigaPortugalBwin where he was brilliant last season. Racing thanks him for these years of loyalty ??????

Finally, the final departure from the Lensois side is Gaëtan Robail. Member of La Gaillette between 2004 and 2011, the attacking midfielder began his career in Arras before joining the reserve of Paris Saint-Germain. Loaned to Bruges then to Valenciennes, he returned to his training club. Having contributed to the club’s rise in Ligue 1, Gaëtan Robail was first loaned to Guingamp and then to Valenciennes. Having agreed with his management, he was released from his last year of contract and joined Atromitos FC in Greece.

Exemplary in the state of mind and actor of the rise in @Ligue1UberEats in 2020, the striker will play under the colors of@atromitos1923 next season.
