Los Goldberg (ABC)
Over eight seasons, The Goldbergs has provided audiences with a plethora of stories, parodies, references, and more steeped in from the 1980s, and while there’s no question that fans would love to see the show move past the ’90s and beyond that, he probably won. It doesn’t happen, considering that the younger generation of actors can’t exactly stop time. And they can’t force audiences to be as big as they were in previous seasons, either, as the current season marks the first time The Goldberg averaged below a 1.0 demo rating for live broadcasts. Since viewership regularly falls below 4 million per episode, ABC may decide to find another series to anchor its Wednesday night programming.
