On the eve of the start of the All Saints’ holidays, VINCI Autoroutes teams are mobilized to help drivers better prepare their journeys and drive safely.

The information system dedicated to the fuel supply status of the service areas of its network continues: continuity of service to the 181 service areas of the VINCI Autoroutes network is ensured on average by 86% for unleaded petrol, and in 92% average for diesel.

Traffic conditions for the weekend of 21-23 October 2022 In general, only exits from large cities are expected to have more heavy traffic than usual, mainly Friday 21 October at the end of the day, when departures on holidays add to the usual traffic.

In the Paris region

Passing the Saint-Arnoult tollbooth, towards the provinces, traffic will be intense on Friday 21 October from 17:00 to 21:00, Saturday 22 October from 9:00 to 13:00, Sunday 23 October at the end of the morning. In the direction of the returns, traffic through Saint-Arnoult will be intense on Sunday 23 October from 16:00 to 20:00.

In the Center region

On the A10 motorway near Orléans, towards the provinces, traffic will gradually resume on Friday 21 October from 3 pm and until late in the evening, Saturday 22 October from 9.00 to 13.00, with a peak of traffic from 10.00 to 12.00 , and Sunday 23 October at the end of the morning.

In the Rhone Valley

Traffic on the A7 motorway will increase from Friday 21 October from 15:00 to 19:00 heading south. Towards Lyon, traffic will peak on Sunday 23 October, between 4pm and 7pm.

Around the Mediterranean: – On the A9 motorway towards Spain, traffic intensifies on Friday 21 October from 15:00 to 20:00 between Nîmes and Montpellier. Traffic will be heavy in this sector towards Lyon on Sunday 23 October from 16:00 to 21:00. – On the A8 motorway, in both directions, traffic will be heavy on Friday 21 October from mid-afternoon to early evening around major cities, mainly around Aix-en-Provence. It will be the same Sunday 23 October, in the afternoon, in the direction of the returns.

Status of the fuel supply of the service areas of the network

Continuity of service in the 181 service areas of the VINCI Autoroutes network is guaranteed on average 86% for unleaded petrol and 92% on average for diesel. This Tuesday, October 18 at noon, only 45 of the 181 service areas (25%) present on the VINCI Autoroutes network had difficulties in supplying unleaded petrol and 16 service areas (or 9% of the total) for this as regards the diesel.

An enhanced traffic information system

A video “Traffic forecast from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 October” will be published from Wednesday 19 October, on all communication channels of VINCI Autoroutes: digital terminals installed in the service areas, YouTube channel of Radio VINCI Autoroutes, VINCI website Autoroutes and @ VINCI Autoroutes twitter feeds to allow vacationers to prepare their trip and monitor traffic conditions. In addition to the video bulletins of the Trafic Express, broadcast by Radio VINCI Autoroutes, they will be published every two hours on Fridays from 4 pm in the service areas.
