Journalist, actress, model: all-rounder Lily Collins is in demand in many areas. Today the daughter of music legend Phil Collins turns 32.
Berlin (AP) – As the daughter of musician Phil Collins and his second wife Jill Tavelman, Lily Collins was practically born with talent. Born in England, Collins grew up in Los Angeles after her parents divorced and devoted himself to writing at an early age.
As a teenager she started as a columnist for various newspapers and then studied journalism at the University of Southern California. But the daughter of the music legend also loves acting. Lily took acting lessons at a young age and made her debut in front of the camera in 2009 with a guest role in two episodes of the series “90210”. Shortly afterwards, she played her first film role in “Blind Side – The Great Opportunity” alongside Sandra Bullock.
Since then, her career has taken a steep recovery: For her role in the Netflix series “Emily in Paris”, Collins was nominated for “Best Actress” in a series for this year’s Golden Globes. The all-rounder has also been seen as a model – among other things on the cover of the magazine “Glamor”.
Above all, her strong dark eyebrows make the young actress stand out from the crowd. Collins celebrates her 32nd birthday today.
