The Baroque Orchestra of the European Union is a unique formation that embodies in music the idea of the harmony of nations. Over the years of its existence, the orchestra has visited more than 53 countries in Europe and Asia, and nearly 700 talented young musicians have started their successful careers by participating in its composition. In 2012, its members represented Germany, Spain, Hungary, Great Britain, Austria, etc. conducted by Lars Ulrik Mortensen, Riccardo Minazzi, Paul Anyu. The guest concertmasters are the Bulgarian Zefira Valova, Hugh Daniel from Wales, and for the concert on the stage of the BAROQUE ART festival – the Croatian Boyan Cicic. The program is constructed around the work of Arcangelo Corelli, who set new European standards in the instrumental music of Europe at the turn of the 18th century in Rome. Influenced by him, two Germans – Handel and Muffat surpassed their idol and gave the musical world works that became a symbol of the Baroque.
