The Japanese government will make the Corona virus vaccine free COVID-19 for its citizens. This policy was set by the country’s Ministry of Health on Friday.
Quoted from The Japan Times, this policy only covers giving Corona vaccine with the initial dose. The reason is, until now it is not certain how many vaccinations must be done for the results to be effective.
The Japanese government has also allocated a budget of 671.4 billion Yen or around 94 trillion rupiah to secure the Corona vaccine stock, so that it can be given to its citizens in June 2021.
A number of vaccine doses from the US company Pfizer and the UK AstraZeneca has also been ordered by Japan.
Not only that, the Japanese government will pay a number of compensation to its citizens if anyone experiences serious side effects after giving the Corona vaccine.
However, if there is a problem with the vaccine or the ongoing clinical trial process is not effective, this plan will be discontinued or canceled.
