All information about the farewell game on Saturday

15 August 2024 General ·

This Saturday at 2 p.m. the time has finally come: DEL record goal scorer and record scorer Patrick Reimer will be sent off into retirement as an ice hockey player with a farewell game in the ARENA NÜRNBERGER Versicherung. Here are the answers to all the important questions for Saturday, including the raffle for the jerseys played:

What happens to the jerseys?

Three jerseys were produced for each participant, which are changed after each third. The players can keep one set. One set will be auctioned off afterwards on icetigers.de, and the third will be raffled off. The tickets are available before the game and during the first break at the price of €2 at the Fifty-Fifty sales stands. The absolute highlight: all winners will receive their jerseys from the players on the ice after the game (meeting point at the Fan Shop South). Of course, you can also take a souvenir photo.

Are there still tickets available?

So far, over 5,000 tickets have been sold, so there are still enough tickets available. These are available at bit.ly/abschiedsspiel and available at all Eventim ticket offices. The box office will also be open on the day.

When is admission?

Just like at regular home games of the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, admission is possible 90 minutes before kick-off, i.e. at 12:30 p.m.

What happens before the game?

The warm-up for both teams begins at 1:20 p.m. After the warm-up and the ice preparation, the pre-program begins with a warm-up trailer and a welcome from the host. After that, all players from both teams are called onto the ice one by one.

How does the game work?

Each period lasts 17 minutes and 16 seconds, based on Patrick Reimer’s jersey numbers in Nuremberg and Düsseldorf. The breaks between periods are set at 20 minutes. There are live interviews on the players’ benches throughout the game.

What happens during breaks?

During the first break, Nuremberg’s mascot Pucki and DEG mascot Düssi will have a small competition with an obstacle course. During the second break, six jerseys will be drawn live. We will also show the highlights from the periods on the video cube.

Will the game be broadcast?

No, there will be no broadcast. However, we will record the entire program signal and make the highlights available.

Are there any fan articles?

There is a special farewell game collection available at the fan shops North and South: T-shirts, caps, scarves, pins, pucks and patches. Any remaining stock will be added to the online shop afterwards.
