Basketball Bundesliga: All information about the 2024/2025 season of the easycredit BBL
The main round of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) begins on September 20, 2024 and will feature a total of 17 teams.
The BBL – the official sponsorship name has been easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga (easyCredit BBL) since 2016 – is the highest division in German men’s basketball. The easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga not only organizes the BBL Cup, but also the German Championship. The 2024/25 season ends on June 15th. After a double round, the six best teams from the regular season qualify for the playoffs. The teams in seventh to tenth place take part in a play-in tournament in which the last two places for the playoffs are determined. The games are mainly broadcast on Telekom’s pay-TV channel MagentaSport. In addition, some selected games will also be shown on free TV.
