Since the early 1990s, Leonardo DiCaprio’s name has become a figure that is touted as the golden son of Hollywood. The nickname actually turned out to be true considering the treatment given to the actor by the largest film industry in the world.
New facts were revealed by Christian Bale in his recent interview with GQ. He explained that Leonardo DiCaprio has received offers from all major Hollywood male roles even today. He also said that all the actors got the lead roles only because the offer was turned down by Leo.
Bale also said that the actors of his time owed a lot to the figure of Leonardo DiCaprio.

“I suspect that almost all of his peers (Leonardo DiCaprio) in Hollywood owe (to him) for their careers for which he has given up (offering) any projects,” he said.
“It doesn’t matter what people tell you. It doesn’t matter how close you are to the director. All the people I’ve worked with several times must have offered the role to him (Leo) first,” he added.
Another compliment was given by the star of Thor: Love and Thunder. He openly cites Leonardo DiCaprio as a phenomenal figure in the acting industry. He also admitted he lost to the man who is now close to Gigi Hadid in several projects, one of which was Titanic.
According to him, competition occurs often, but it is almost certain that Leonardo DiCaprio is the first choice from most of the cast directors to Hollywood directors.
The conversation about his career and Leonardo DiCaprio appeared when Zach Baron asked him about the news in 2000, where it was rumored that Leonardo DiCaprio really wanted to play Patrick Bateman’s character in American Psycho.
