All England 2022: Indonesia Full Team Squad, from Marcus/Kevin to Praveen/Melati Page all

KOMPAS.com – Indonesia comes with the best strength on All England 2022 which is scheduled to take place at Arena Birmingham, England, 16-20 March 2022.

List of Indonesian badminton players on All England 2022 released by the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI) through their official social media, Thursday (3/2/2022) evening WIB.

Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo filled the Indonesian men’s singles squad in the oldest badminton tournament in the world.

On the other hand, PBSI only sent two women’s singles at the All England 2022, namely Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.

Unlike Gregoria, who has appeared at the All England several times, this will be Putri Kusuma Wardani’s debut in this prestigious tournament.

Turning to the men’s doubles, Indonesia fielded its best players, including three pairs who are still in the top 10 in the world today.

They are Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, and Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto.

PBSI also sent three young couples, namely Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

The three young men’s doubles are worth waiting for their progress this year because they showed a pretty convincing performance in 2021. They have beaten Marcus/Kevin, Ahsan/Hendra, and Fajar/Rian.

As for the women’s doubles sector, PBSI sent four pairs, namely Gresyia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi, and Ribka Sugiarto/Febby Valencia Dwijayanti Gani.

In mixed doubles there are Praveen Jordan/Melati Daeva Oktavianti who is now a professional player and returned to the club after no longer being called up to the national team this year.

In addition, there was Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja who competed with her new partner, Dejan Ferdinansyah.

Like Praveen/Melati, Gloria was also not included in the 2022 national training composition. All three are currently back at their club, namely PB Djarum.
