All England 2021 – Turkey’s Representative in One Airplane with the Indonesian Team Finally WO

KOMPAS.com – The women’s singles badminton player from Turkey, Neslihan Yigit, is known to have resigned, aka WO from the event All England 2021, Thursday (18/3/2021) afternoon WIB.

Previously, controversy was being hit by Neslihan Yigit, who continues to work at All England 2021.

Because, he was still allowed to appear even though he traveled on an airplane with the Indonesian team from Istanbul to Birmingham on Saturday (13/3/2021).

As per British Government regulations, if on the same plane there is a person who is positive for Covid-19, the other passengers are required to undergo isolation for 10 days.

However, only the Indonesian team was forced to withdraw from All England earlier on Thursday morning WIB.

Suddenly, this also caused controversy because of the organizers of the All England and BWF as the person in charge seems unfair about this.

However, Neslihan Yigit is known to have withdrawn from the world’s oldest badminton tournament as of Thursday afternoon WIB.

Yigit is scheduled to face Japan’s representative Akane Yamaguchi in the second match at Field 2 Utilita Arena, Birmingham, which is scheduled to take place at around 10:00 am local time.

This is known from Badminton Talk’s tweet as well as information on Tournament Software which states that Yigit is “Walkover”.

It is not yet known why Neslihan Yigit made this decision.

BWF and the All England have yet to provide an official statement until this news is published.

However, the Turkish representative has been killed walk out in All England.

She is certain to give the absolute victory to the Japanese women’s doubles, Akane Yamaguchi, in the last 16.

Previously, Neslihan Yigit, who was hit by controversy, won in the first round after defeating France’s representative, Marie Batomene.
