All Emojis Can Now Be Used for WhatsApp Conversation Reactions

KOMPAS.com – Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced all emoji from WhatsApp can now be used as “ReactionsWhatsApp conversations. This new feature can also be used by users in Indonesia.

Previously, rumors of increasing the number of emoji in the “Reactions” feature Whatsapp already heard at the end of last June.

Then, Mark Zuckerberg through his personal Instagram account officially announced the addition of the number of emojis in the “Reactions” feature and can be used by all Whatsapp users.

In his announcement, Zuckerberg wrote that Whatsapp has provided any emoji options as “Reactions”.

Zuckerberg also revealed his favorite emoji as Reactions, namely the robot face emoji, french fries, a man surfing, emoji wearing sunglasses, number 100, and emoji fist bump.

The “Reactions” feature was initially announced by Whastapp last April, but can only be used evenly by all users after one month after the announcement, namely May 2022.

Emoji-Emojis available in previous versions only display six emojis. The six emojis consist of a thumbs up, heart, laughing, sad, surprised, and two-handed emoji as a symbol of gratitude.

Quoted KompasTekno from Tech CrunchTuesday (12/7/2022), this feature update is considered an additional visual for Whatsapp users to give the impression of “fun”.

Each user will not be limited to using just the six “Reactions” emoji, but can freely use all emojis.
