All drivers present at the Austria press conference tomorrow

All Formula 1 teams and drivers have now arrived in Austria and tomorrow they will address the press for the first time. However, this will be different than we were used to before. The biggest change is that all drivers will be present during the media talk.

Normally, a few drivers are appointed for a press moment to report to the gathered journalists. The same applies to the team bosses of the different teams. They then sit at a long table opposite the press. In Austria it will be completely different because of the corona measures. All drivers are invited to speak to the press this time. Of course, distance is kept and the riders will not have to sit at one long table together. Since the press is not physically present on the track, the questions are asked and answered via video calls.

The press conference will take place tomorrow, Thursday July 2, at 2:00 PM. It is not yet known how long the talk with the media will last. Because all drivers are present, it seems to be a long time. The drivers are expected to speak alternately to a particular news medium and to have several video calls taking place simultaneously. Of the team bosses, six members join Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM: Toto Wolff (Mercedes), Christian Horner (Red Bull), Zak Brown (McLaren), Mattia Binotto (Ferrari), Cyril Abiteboul (Renault) in Franz Tost (AlphaTauri).
