Unlike in the World Cup, there are 25 knockout duels in the competitions of the tour in the first round. The 25 winners and the five best losers (lucky losers) move into the final of the best 30 jumpers. The result of the qualification is used to determine the pairings for the competitions. The best of the qualifiers compete against the 50th, the second against the 49, etc. The competition traditionally begins with the duel of the 26th against the 25th

The overall winner is the jumper who collects the most points in all four competitions. The day winners are determined in two rounds in which the points are added. 50 jumpers take part in each competition, in the second round the top 30 may jump again.
