All brakes loose: Erling Haaland says goodbye to Dortmund fans in dancing (and in tracksuit) Time-out

Some more in the hearts of Dortmund fans. If that was still possible, at least. After 2.5 years at Borussia Dortmund, good for 86 goals in 89 matches, Erling Haaland played his farewell match for the German top club on Saturday. He waved off with a goal — of course — but also chose to say goodbye to his beloved fans in a different way. The 21-year-old Norwegian dived into the nightlife.

Dancing, singing, jumping, playing bartender — though he didn’t seem to enjoy the drink himself — and taking selfies. It seemed like a complete party in a German club. Striking: Haaland had not put on his best shirt or most expensive suit. He partied in the yellow Dortmund tracksuit.

A few hours before the party, Haaland, next year’s teammate of Kevin De Bruyne, received an impressive farewell in the Signal Iduna Park. With flowers, a frame and the famous Yellow wall who open their throats. After the match, Haaland addressed the fans in a video message. “It was a great honor to wear this shirt. I had fantastic moments with special people. Our fans were always a twelfth man on the field. The yellow wall is really unbelievable. I will never forget this.”

Just like those dozens of fans will never forget that they put the flowers out with Erling Haaland.
