What to know about the night cruise

  • Of all the cruises offered in New York, the Harbor Lights cruise at dusk is undoubtedly the best seller: it is by far the best-selling cruise in our New York Excursions section! And it is true that it is one of the most spectacular programs. The concept of this night cruise: let you enjoy the illuminations of the Manhattan skyline.
  • To do this, the Harbor Lights cruise is organized very precisely, from April to December. Boarding takes place at pier 83 at the end of the day, knowing that the time changes according to the seasons, so as not to miss the sunset. Pier 83 is on the edge of the Hudson at the end of 42nd Street. In winter, the cruise departs at 7 p.m. and it is already dark by then.
  • The boat then descends the Hudson and heads for the southern tip of Manhattan. Prepare your camera: you will have a breathtaking view of the buildings of the Financial District and the One World Trade Center tower, which reddens in the sun. The ship then makes a full circle around Downtown to go up the East River and pass under the Brooklyn Bridge.
  • Once night has fallen, the return is made by the same route: you will therefore be able to admire the Financial District again, this time in night version. The Harbor Lights cruise lasts 2 hours in total.
