Inside, the AMG version differs from conventional sedans in touches. There were separate buttons for controlling the settings of the hybrid transmission, the dashboard graphics and the multimedia system menu were changed, AMG emblems appeared on the headrests, and the corresponding overlays appeared on the backs. The split-spoke sports steering wheel and head-up display are standard.
The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance is designed for four and there are no compromises for the rear passengers. Curiously, there will be a delay in level 3 autopilot on the hybrid super sedan, although such a system is already available for the regular S-Classes. Active safety systems are available: there is recognition of pedestrians, cyclists and road signs, cruise adaptive control with automatic braking, headlights with light prompts and much more.
