All About Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story – A Review and Rating

We are now in the process of starting again in the world Runeterrawhich has no end to the mystery, on a completely new continent: a continent Freljord. In this adventure, we will be told the story of Nuno and Willum, two of the most beloved characters in… League of Legends. Was the game able to provide a new and exciting experience for players during this journey? Were you able to present an epic story that reveals new events and aspects similar to previous works in the series?League of Legends Story“? We’ll find out inReview and rating of Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story“, which comes to you from the heart of the League of Legends world and from the company Riot Forgewhich is a company-owned studio Riot Games.

Before we start reviewing the game, let me share some details about the two main characters in League of Legends. Nuno and Willum are two of the oldest characters to join League of Legends. Their idea was simple: a child throwing snowballs in a winter coat, riding a mythical and imaginative creature, the Yeti, but they turned into a beloved and amazing duo after updating the graphics and story in 2018.

Nono and Willum come from a snowy region called Freljord, a land known for its coldness and ancient charm. The Freljord is a harsh place, where warring tribes and marauders are locked in perpetual conflicts over the scarce resources the land provides.

The ancient ice witch Lysandra controls the fate of the Freljord to achieve her own mystical goals. There’s something hiding under the ice, and Lysandra strives to keep it from coming out. Nono and Willum seem to have an important role in her plan, although they do not know what its true purpose is. This background has been built over more than ten years, and “Song of Nunu” takes us on a new adventurous journey with this duo.

Now, the duo is on a search trip. While they are enjoying the snow and making happy memories, they are excitedly searching for Nono’s mother. From the first moment, you realize that this is a unique story experience in which two friends challenge the world and all the dangers it hides as they strive to reach Nono’s mother.

The story will begin with a short cutscene in which we travel through a snowstorm to rescue Willum, and then the game takes us back to three days ago, where Nono wakes up in a cave and heads to the Freljord to search for Willum, who has a little surprise for his friend. After giving him the “funny gift,” your adventure begins by walking towards the mountain with wings in search of Blue’s Heart. Once you start the trek, you will be amazed by the beauty of this snowy wilderness.

Of course, things are not that simple. The ice witch Lysandra follows the duo as they walk towards the mountains carrying wings. This trip is not just a quiet tour of the Freljord. It’s a land full of dangers, especially for a 10-year-old. Lysandra is not the only character you will meet. There are several other characters from the League of Legends universe making an appearance as well. One of the characters you’ll meet is Braum, and there are a lot of other surprises but I won’t spoil the fun for you.

The game offers you an experience similar to PS2 games, and gives you a feeling of old classic games, as the gameplay reminds me of UP, It Takes Two, and other wonderful games that make me nostalgic for the past, with some elements from games that have an amazing art style that increases the beauty of the world.

Nono is a little kid who has the talent of throwing snowballs and playing the flute, but in reality, you won’t feel any harm with Nono, because he’s a kid. However, the same cannot be said about Willum

Willom has the ability to hit any enemy in his path with light and heavy blows like most classic games. He also has the ability to climb walls, but only for climbing, and he can break ice, which is also for breaking only.

The game added diversity in the gameplay style, such as light confrontations against the Ice Wolves, where you combine light and heavy strikes to fight them, in addition to the stealth style, where you distract the guards in order to cross safely without direct combat.

When the duo unites, they can do wonders as most of the puzzles depend on their cooperation. Nono can blast environmental items such as using snowballs to hit exploding plants while Willum smashes rooftops.

Use Nono’s magic flute to move moving platforms. The flute in particular is beautifully designed, with four notes arranged on a square-like setting, allowing you to mix notes to create different tones, melodies, and pitches. All this makes the game more fun.

There are some small activities in the game but they appear once or twice throughout the story. Like skiing where Nono rides on Willum’s back like a sled and slides down the mountain. During this time, you have to be careful not to collide, use snowballs to break plant fruits to open the road, and other things.

The game showed a wonderful story from the world of Runeterra, It takes you on a fantasy adventure that makes you feel like you are a part of it, mixing events and secrets, and making the playing experience deeper and more exciting. The puzzles provided were delightfully easy to understand It is not overly complicated. It was solved easily and with minimal effort, which made it a perfect fit with the game experience and added to the fun of playing. The background music was great and suited the atmosphere of the game It is the work of Chris Velasco, the famous composer for God of War III and Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and it is both poignant and sad at the same time. The game gave me a lot of information about the world of Freljordwhich was presented very well, and which also answered a lot of questions about the world of Freljord.

The combat in the game was not fun due to its extreme simplicityresulting in a distinct lack of challenge and variety, as the options available to players were often limited and lacked noticeable contrast, making the combat experience feel easy and boring. The exploration experience in the game wasn’t fun enough It suffered from a lack of diversity, as it did not offer many different opportunities to enjoy different exploratory experiences. The game’s graphics quality was lower than expected. It was very simplistic and did not provide a dazzling experience or distinctive details that would inspire players, which made it lack clear visual charm. The absence of the Arabic language is one of the biggest drawbacks in the game. Especially since the game focuses heavily on the story. It can be difficult for people who are not fluent in English or another language to follow important details and events in the story. Understanding the story is an essential part of the entire game experience.

Yes

Especially fans of the world of Runeterra, and of course League of Legends fans. Because of the exploration of some of the most important characters in this universe, as well as the famous region: Freljord. For those who are not familiar with this world or the game in general, “Song of Nunu” is still a fun and warm experience that is worth your time.
