Bix Aliu congratulates GE and PKN Orlen. It is about cooperation on the future of the power plant in Ostrołęka.
Chargé d’affaires of the US Embassy in Poland congratulated the above-mentioned companies on Twitter, thanks to which the power plant in Ostrołęka will be able to operate on the basis of the new system.
Annex to the contract
The annex to the contract for the construction of the Ostrołęka C power plant, signed on Friday with GE, provides that instead of a coal-fired unit, a 745 MW steam and gas unit will be built there for about PLN 2.5 billion. The coal project was closed and settled without fines.
Congratulations @GE_Polska and @PKNOrlen! Thanks to the negotiated agreement, the latest generation gas power plant will be built in Ostrołęka. I am glad that the technologies of US companies help Poland achieve its goals related to clean energy.
