The first stage of the state championship, ELITE category, broadcast the contestants who acquired the right to participate in the state championship – women, in the month of May.
The competition was officially opened by the three-time world champion Maria Gigova, the mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, by the head of the “Sport” department Veselina Devedzhieva, the regional director Prof. PhD Maria Neikova, Dimcho Grudev – deputy chairman of the Burgas Municipal Council, Georgi Marinchev – chairman of the Sports Commission for Burgas, Petar Chifilonov – partner of SKHG “Chernomorets”, the president of the host club Ani Bosheva and the chief judge Rada Vrazheva.
At the “Julieta Shishmanova” rhythmic gymnastics championship held in Burgas, the winner of the qualification was Alina Kolomiets from the club “Levski Triaditsa” with a total of 112,650t. Her teammates, graduates of coach Miroslava Bataklieva and Maria Kancheva, Sofia Pavlova and Elena Georgieva, respectively, took second and third place. Sofia collected a total of 112,100 points, and Elena – 111,675 points.
The top eight in the qualification were completed: fourth – Emona Tsenova from “Iliana” club, fifth – Ivon Boschkilova from “Levski” club, sixth – Dimana Savova from “Char DKS” club Varna, seventh – Yana Staykova from “Akademik” club and eighth place – Danaya Atanasova from Levski club.
The first 21 gymnasts in the all-around ranking will participate in the state championship, ELITE category, in May. Teams from 16 clubs from all over the country play in the competition.
For junior girls, the winner of the qualification was Irena Nedeva from “Char DKS”, with personal trainer Filipa Filipova, who collected a total of 98,158 points. The representatives of “Avangard” Sofia, with personal trainers Nikolay Boev and Tsvetomira Vasileva, placed second and third – respectively, Svetlizara Petkova is second with a total of 98,049, and Angela Todorova is third with a total of 94,275t.
The top eight in the qualifications complete: fourth place – Ava Makazchieva from “Lokomotiv” Sofia, fifth – Yoana Vutova from “Iliana”, sixth – Ivana Yankulova from “Levski Triaditsa”, seventh – Sofia Dimova from “Lokomotiv” Sofia and eighth – Vyara Mladenova from “Levski”. The first 24 athletes who qualified in the all-around gain the right to participate in the DP, ELITE category, in the month of May.
Elvira Krasnobayeva played in front of the Burgas audience and judges, and her 5-ball combination was played by an ensemble of girls consisting of: Andrea Ivanova, Eva Emilova, Tsveteyoana Peycheva, Krasimira Ivanova and Vanessa Emilova, led by the team’s senior coach Kristina Ilieva and her assistant Zhanina Ivanova .
The competition in the “Youth” hall continues today with senior girls, the first stage of the “Julieta Shishmanova” championship.
