PR BEKASI – For astronomer was recently confused after discovering an alien planet lurking in the binary star system known as b Centauri.
The findings, published on Wednesday, October 8, 2021 in the journal Nature, reveal that the alien planet is about 325 years old light from Earth.
The exoplanet was unexpectedly discovered with the help of the Super Large Telescope (VLT) of the Southern European Observatory (ESO).

The telescope took pictures of the planet orbiting the massive star at b Centauri at a distance of 100 times between Jupiter and the Sun.
System b Centauri is stellar binary, meaning it consists of two stars orbiting each other.
One of these stars is thought to be at least six times as massive as our lonely Sun.

According to Markus Janson, a astronomer at Stockholm University, Sweden, and the first author of the new study, this is a very thrilling discovery for researchers astronomer.
