To commemorate Alien: Isolation’s 10th anniversary, developer Creative Assembly and publisher Sega teamed up to reveal news that fans have been eagerly awaiting for the past decade. The sequel to what is often considered one of the greatest horror games of all time is in early development, which means in a few years we’ll all be going back to space to hide. from Xenomorphs and screaming where no one can hear us.
As confirmed in a statement on X, creative director Al Hope told us: “On this 10th anniversary, it seems only fitting to let you know that your call for help has been heard loud and clear.
“Today, on behalf of the team, I am pleased to confirm that a sequel to Alien: Alien is in the early stages of development.
It should be noted that since this is early development and not full production, this sequel will probably take 3+ years. While considering how good the original game was, we wish the development team had taken all the time to build a follow-up that’s as terrifying, terrifying and exciting to the first one.
