A Race with a Purpose: Febuary 20th Departure
established in 1997,the 4L Trophy isn’t just a race; it’s a humanitarian endeavor. This annual event, open to active individuals and students aged 18 to 25, focuses on raising funds and collecting supplies for schools in southern Morocco. Donations collected by participants go towards building classrooms, providing non-perishable food, school supplies, and clothing.
The altruistic nature of the rally resonated deeply with Marie and Alicia. However, their journey began with a significant hurdle: fundraising. The costs associated with purchasing a reliable 4L vehicle (modified for puncture resistance), securing necessary mechanical and medical equipment, and covering registration and operational expenses totaled nearly $12,000. This substantial sum represents a significant challenge for the two young women as they join approximately 1,400 other teams in this race of hearts.
With the race set to begin Thursday, February 20, 2025, from the Iraty hall in Biarritz, marie and Alicia are actively seeking sponsorships.
