The IV Public Services Satisfaction Barometer, promoted by the Urban Services Observatory (OSUR) positions Alicante ranked 6th in the evaluation of cleaning and municipal services among the 30 most populous Spanish municipalities. With this promotion, it climbs 10 positions compared to the previous edition.
The survey reflects that municipal public services in the city of Alicante satisfy 75% of citizens, a result higher than that obtained in the last assessment, carried out in 2019. This figure places the city 12 percentage points above the Spanish average (63%). With these data, the Alicante public services consolidate their improvement compared to the data from 2019, where only 49% of citizens were satisfied.
All services show the consolidation of good grades obtained in the extensive survey that OSUR carried out in the Valencian Community in 2021. The score of all the Alicante municipal services analyzed is above the national average.

Service public transport has obtained 73% satisfaction, in line with the results of the surveys carried out by the Observatory in 2018 and 2021, 13 points above the national average. The people of Alicante place the garbage and waste collection service in third place, with 65% acceptance. This is 5% more than the national average. With the same result, the city consolidates the growth observed in 2021 in the service of care of parks and gardens, and conservation of public spaces and sports facilities, with 65% satisfaction, which is 10% more than the national average.
