Henry Romero confronts television presenter
Alianza FC defender, Henry Romero, confronted the Channel 4 presenter, Carlos Iraheta, after the 1-1 draw between the pachydermo team and CD Águila played at the Cuscatlán stadium for the semifinals of Apertura 2023.
Romero arrived at the area where Iraheta was, who sought to interview the player, but the white soccer player denied his statements and complained about something that the television presenter later explained.
“There were complaints from Henry, we only asked for statements, he stated that there were many people who had been talking about him regarding a comment that we made,” said Iraheta.
“I think there was confusion on his part and that’s why he addressed me directly, he just wanted an interview, but nothing really happened,” added the sports presenter.
Romero was escorted by Alianza communication members, Cristian Roque and Joel Cañas, to prevent the incident from escalating.
