Matchday 18 of the Clausura 2024 tournament ended, and Alianza, with the victory against Platense, became the undisputed leader in the standings, but escorted by Firpo and Municipal Limeño. That is the summary of the day.
The Alianza albos beat Platense at home, at the Antonio Toledo Valle stadium, to take the lead. Alianza’s goals were scored by Michelle Mercado, at 38′, and Sebastián Julio, at 43′, with which the capital team won and finished as the sole leader in the table.
The Dragon saga brought out the result in extremis, at the Juan Francisco Barraza stadium. In the last minutes the purslane team and Fuerte San Francisco tied with goals from Steven Guerra and Yerson Tovar for the Migueleños, and Samuel Jiménez and Bryan Paz for Fuerte, but, at 90 + 2′, Manuel Ortiz appeared to give him victory for the locals.
