Libreville, Sunday May 7, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The sons and daughters of this department took part during the week in Libreville in a preparatory meeting as a prelude to the Republican tour of the Head of State in this part of Gabon.
On the initiative of Emmanuel Eyeghe Nze, Minister Delegate for Public Works, nationals of the Okano department, Woleu-Ntem province, met during the week in Libreville. This meeting was part of the announced visit of the Head of State, Ali Bongo Ondimba to this province. “We do not yet have a precise date for the arrival of the Head of State in our province, but we must already reflect on the priority actions for the development of the department and the municipality of Mitzic”, indicates an elite of Okano. For the participants in this meeting, it is above all a question of reserving a warm welcome to the President of the Republic during this stage which falls within the framework of the republican tour that he is carrying out through the nine regions of Gabon. Working committees have been set up for this purpose.
The initiators of the meeting also took the opportunity to sensitize the audience on the process of registration on the electoral list which starts this Tuesday, May 9 and ends on June 7. Both were thus invited to enlist massively in order to be able to support their champion, Ali Bongo Ondimba, when the time came.
