VIVA – Duel chess between Dadang Subur alias Fan God against GM Irene Kharisma Sukandar to be the talk of Indonesian netizens. This duel was broadcast live on Youtube by Deddy Corbuzier, Monday, March 22, 2021.
This match uses a four-act format with a thinking time of 10 minutes per half. Both chess players have two chances to use black and white pawns. Irene managed to win 3-0.
In the first half, Irene Sukandar held a white pawn and performed the Caro-Kann opening.
After almost 5 minutes of the first half, Dewa Kipas made a blunder so that he lost one officer which was an advantage for Irene. The fan god gave up after receiving a series of attacks.
In the second half, it went a little longer until Dadang Subur and Irene Sukandar had two minutes left to think. However, the Fan God made another fatal blunder and was forced to give up.
In the third round, it was not much different, Irene was already far superior to the chess pieces in the early minutes. Dadang finally gave up for the third time in this fight.
