The town of Alhendin has organized, through the Departments of Culture, Seniors and Citizen Participation, a diverse program for this autumn in which learning and the entertainment They will be protagonists of almost fifty activities in which around a thousand neighbors will participate.
The mayor of AlhendinFrancisco Rodríguez, has announced together with the Councilor for Culture, Tourism, Seniors and Citizen Participation, Rosa María Moya, the details of the programmed actions with the “professionalism” of those who teach them fully guaranteed.
The activities are organized between the City Council itself and different associations of the municipality from this October to next June, some of them increasing in schedules and places.
One of them is the Ceramic workshopwhich began last year and the number of students that comprise it has increased, as also happens with the Music schoolwhich continues to increase the number of registered participants and provides other new activities.
In the Library, activities such as Cstorytellerstudy room and book loan, while the Guadalinfo Center offers courses for all ages to obtain an electronic signature or how to carry out procedures by appointment.
He Municipal Theater Workshop The course for adults, youth and children also begins, while the workshops of the Third Age They offer ‘Activate your mind’ and ‘Activate your body’ for several days a week.
To these activities we must add those that develop different associations such as the Cultural Agüita Salá on flamenco dance, the Rociero Alhendinenses Choir, the Coro y Rondalla Montevive Association or Santo Cristo, which will focus on crafts.
The Solidarity Needles Association will offer its course and crochet workshop while Sould Energy will do it on flamencotherapy, afrorhythms or aerobics.
The neighbors of Alhendin They will also be able to participate in courses and workshops on choir and orchestra, organized by the Cantana Cultural Association; or on tulle embroidery, cutting and sewing, therapeutic gymnastics and painting classes, with Begoña Rentero, taught by the Amahal Women’s Association.
The School of Musical Initiatives de Alhendín offers the possibility of learning musical language, piano, guitar or trumpet, in addition to renting instruments, while the Los Lunares Cultural Association offers flamenco, modern, pre-ballet or sevillanas and clapping compás workshops.
To all these activities that take place in the Alhendinense core we must add those that are held in the Los Llanos Multipurpose Centeramong which are dance, activate your mind, cutting and dressmaking, drawing and painting, yoga and pilates or ceramics.

The mayor of Alhendín has highlighted that the involvement of the City Council and cultural associations contributes to offering a “wide variety” of options for participants in these workshops and courses to “improve” their learning.
For her part, the Councilor for Culture has stressed that apart from classes there is a parallel cultural program that includes “specific events” such as theatrical performances, flamenco shows or getaways, among others, that “pursue” the Enjoy our neighbors and their “approach to culture.”
