It’s official now. Algerian U23 international Moncef Bekrar will play in the MLS league from next season.
His new club, New York City has officially confirmed the signing of the contract which runs until 2026.
A member of Croatian club Istra NK since last summer, the former ES Setif striker was to be loaned to Dinamo Zagreb before the deal fell through following a financial dispute.
He is transferred to the United States for an amount of 2 million dollars.
The purchase option was set, as a reminder, at 1.1 million euros.
