Against all odds, Cheb Adjel’s concert, scheduled for Thursday, February 9 in Casablanca, was canceled due to the Algerian artist’s support for the Polisario.
Cheb Adjel’s concert was supposed to take place in the Punjab tourist complex in Aïn Diab district but was canceled at the last minute due to his support for the separatist movement Polisario.

The announcement of the concert caused a lot of reactions on social media in recent weeks. “An insult to the Moroccan soldiers in the Sahara,” wrote the MoorishMovement, among others, in a message on Twitter.

In 2019, while on tour in Morocco, Cheb Adjel came under fire for a previous concert in Spain, in which the singer of “Clandestin moul el megane” had expressed his support for the Polisario.
