This Tuesday May 19, three opponents Algerians have been sentenced to heavy prison terms following Facebook posts, according to an Algerian detainee support association and Amnesty International.
Activist Soheib Debaghi was sentenced to one year in prison for incitement to crowds, contempt of body and Facebook posts which could harm the national interest
, said the National Committee for the Release of Prisoners (CNLD).
Larbi Tahar and Boussif Mohamed Boudiaf were sentenced to 18 months in prison, also for publications on Facebook, according to Amnesty.
