Signorini, 58, from Milan, graduated in medieval philology at the Catholic University of Milan, began his professional career as a teacher of humanities. With a long experience in the world of journalism, Signorini is today a television presenter, author and writer: a passionate connoisseur of classical music and opera director, he has published numerous books with Mondadori dedicated to the lives of great composers and personalities from the world of music, the entertainment and fashion. Massimo Borgnis who will replace him at the helm of Who was born in Milan 62 years ago. After studying at the International School of Milan, he began his career in journalism as a sports reporter specializing in American football and US sports. In 1988 he joined the editorial staff of Gente where he remained for 19 years assuming increasing responsibilities, until he became central editor-in-chief; a role that he has also held since 2007 at the weekly Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni before being appointed in 2009 as deputy executive director of Chi.

Among other things, there was also a change in top management at Gente, with Umberto Brindani replacing Rossella Rasulo at the direction of the family member of Hearst Magazines Italia two weeks ago. For Brindani it is actually a return: he had directed Gente from 2004 to 2005, before taking over the leadership of Chi, Sorrisi e Canzoni Tv and subsequently Oggi.
