“Alfamart: Visitors Not Charged Parking Fee, Corporate Affairs Director Confirms”

Parking attendants at various outlets Alfamart still visible today. In fact, visitors are not charged a parking fee by Alfamart.

Corporate Affairs Director of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart) Solihin said, until now Alfamart visitors are not charged a parking fee. This is because his party is not an organizer such as a shop or mall that asks visitors to pay for parking when they are visiting.

“We are not the organizers, that’s why we never charge parking fees,” he said at Tower Alfa, Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday (17/5/2023).

However, he did not deny that there are several areas that have asked Alfamart to pay parking fees to the local government (pemda). The reason, to increase regional income.

“So we hope that things like that can be communicated properly, with a fair value. With a note, the local government must also help so that there are no parking lots that undermine consumers,” said Solihin.

“There are (those who pay retribution to the government), we have an agreement. For example, we are currently still negotiating, in Bekasi City the value is still negotiable,” he said.
