Alfa Romeo is working on a B-SUV which will debut in 2024, a very important model for its growth strategy. As we already know, it will also be proposed in one 100% electric version. What will be his name? For a long time there was speculation that it could be called Brenner. However, more than a year ago, Alfa Romeo number one Jean-Philippe learned had denied these rumours.
Apparently, however, the name chosen could actually be Brennero. The car manufacturer, in fact, shared a particular teaser through its social channels in which alternating coordinates of some Italian geographical areas. They correspond, precisely, to the Balocco, the Stelvio Pass, the Arese Museum and… the Brenner Pass. This is a strong indication that the manufacturer may indeed have chosen this name for its next model.

But that is not all. The teaser is accompanied by the message “Maybe deep down we’ve always known it“. Phrase which could allude to the fact that the name Brennero had been circulating for some time. Has Alfa Romeo therefore changed its mind by deciding to call the B-SUV Brennero? It won’t take long to find out given that this model will arrive in a few months.
We know what it will be about this car close relative of the Jeep Avenger and the Fiat 600, so much so that it will always be built inside the Tychy factory, in Poland. This means that the electric model will have the engines yes 115 kW (156 CV) powered by a 54 kWh battery which will allow a range of approximately 400 km. The endothermic versions should not be missing either. In particular, the Hybrid unit which we also find on Jeep and Fiat models should be made available.
All that remains, therefore, is to wait for more news on the presentation of Alfa Romeo’s B-SUV.
