Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia received a special edition of GT Junior, drawing inspiration from the sixties

The news pays tribute to one of the more affordable coupes sold by the Italian carmaker in the 1960s and 1970s.

Although Alfa Romeo’s current offer is not very rich, the Italians are filling in the waiting for the expansion with the third model, which will probably be sold by Tonale next year, at least by introducing various special editions. In the past, we saw the GTA / GTAm or 6C Villa d’Este, for example, and now the limit with the GT Junior designation is coming.

The inspiration for the new limited edition was the Alfa Romeo 1300 Junior, one of the brand’s more affordable coupes, which received a Bertone body, 89 horses under the hood and appeared on the market between 1965 and 1977. And what does a stylish retro-sports coupe have in common? with a modern sedan and SUV?
