Alfa Romeo has released a final photo of its mystery supercar ahead of the model’s August 30, 2023 debut at the brand’s museum. The accompanying Facebook post includes the slogan “Il coraggio di sognare”, which means “the courage to dream” in Bulgarian.
The four red lights in the image probably indicate the car’s taillights. They include a triangular radiator grille with vertical slats. The upper part of the car is red and the lower part is dark gray. Alfa Romeo has done an excellent job of keeping its supercar under wraps.
Rumors suggest that the model may share a chassis with the Maserati MC20. The drivetrain is also expected to be similar with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, but also an electric motor. This would result in a total output of around 800 hp. compared to 621 hp from the non-hybrid MC20.
Alfa Romeo chief executive Jean-Philippe Imparato said the supercar looks “iconic, super-sexy and recognisable”, and described it as something he could put next to the 8C at the Arese museum.
