which is Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and the BMW M4 CSL to have in common? Well, they are two of the most radical proposals today, as despite being approved for road use, both have very pronounced sporting genes.
Both have followed strict diets compared to the versions that serve as the basis and have seen their potency grow. But which one will be the fastest in a endurance race🇧🇷 Let’s get to the numbers…
Limited to just 500 units, the Giulia GTA adds another 30 HP to the 2.9 V6 biturbo engine we already know from the Julia Quadrifoglio settling in the 540 HP of power. Furthermore, it weighs 100 kg less than the Quadrifoglio and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
NOT TO MISS: Alfa Romeo supercar in 2023. Will it be electric or combustion?
At the other corner of the «ring» is the BMW M4 CSL, which marks the return of the legendary CSL acronym to BMW M. Equipped with a 550 HP twin-turbo in-line six-cylinder (40 HP more than the M4 competition) the M4 CSL is 10 HP more powerful than the Giulia GTA, but is slightly heavier: 1625 kg for the German versus 1605 kg for the Italian. It reaches 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
The numbers are very balanced, which makes this one endurance race – organized by Carwow – even more unpredictable. Who are they betting on?
