Cuban comedian Alexis Valdés came to the defense of his wife, Claudia, after rumors spread about her attending the infamous Ana de Armas birthday party on April 30.
The wife of the also playwright has been characterized as one of the voices of the opposition in exile, for which reason her supposed attendance at the event, in which some figures of Cuban politics were gatheredcaused a stir in networks.
The rumors arose after videos of the party were released that had been shared in stories by some of the guests, who eventually deleted them and where figures such as Claudia Muma, María Carla Cremata and the musician Alain Pérez appeared.
Supposedly, in one of these videos Claudia Valdés appeared, who for years has been an opponent from Miami and, therefore, has not traveled to Cuba for more than a few days a few months ago, when she wanted her sick grandmother to meet her great-granddaughter.
Faced with this situation, Valdés published a message on his social networks that alluded to the situation, although he did not show any kind of evidence.
“You have to be a very bad person to campaign against Claudia Valdés, a generous, decent, brave and noble person,” he wrote in an image that also reached his Instagram.
He also added how caption: “What poverty of spirit! What little humanity! What a pity of people! Trying to dirty the image of good people”.
The writer was embroiled in a controversy himself recently, where he was accused of having fired one of his actors from the play Officially Gayfor having appeared on an Alexander Otaola program and not defending him when the youtuber spoke ill of him.
However, her fans came out and filled Valdés’s networks with messages of support and support comments, stating that they know the quality of a person that Claudia is and that she would never attend the indicated event.
