In the first days of May it emerged that at least three mayors of GANA and their respective trustees took advantage of the first session of the Municipal Council to prescribe increases in salaries and representation expenses, as was the case of the mayor of San Luis Talpa, Salvador. Menendez.
Faced with this abuse, the legislator reiterated that “in Nuevas Ideas this type of actions will not be tolerated. It is important to reflect on these situations because it is not an issue of salaries, but of austerity.”
