Elected Miss Alès 2018, this Vézénobrienne, who left for Paris, lifts the veil on her projects.
Even deeply in love with her land in the Gard and her village of Vézénobres, Alexia Arnault has taken a turn. The one who was Miss Alès 2018, and runner-up to Miss Languedoc-Roussillon the same year, left for Paris at the beginning of October.
“For personal reasons”, she slips, before moving on. Suddenly, she turned her back on her job in real estate, the cicadas and the sun that she loves so much and now works as a salesperson in the dental field.
Here, I’m only talking about Nîmes, Alès and Gard
The Vézénobrienne does not regret her choice, but specifies that if she has “left the region, it is not a final choice”. Nostalgic ? “I kept my apartment in Nîmes; I can’t let go, she laughs. Here, I am only talking about Nîmes, Alès and Gard. These are my roots. It’s stupid to say, but when you have represented, even on my small scale, your city, you keep a special connection. “
For its heritage, for its personalities. “During this year that I lived as a Miss, what struck me the most were the people I was able to meet”, she confides (read also elsewhere). Alexia Arnault then refocuses on Paris: “I fell in love with the capital. I am not at all in the spirit of the” grumpy Parisian “. Even the metro, I find it romantic! But Paris is not at home …”
The young woman remains aware of having lived a long time “in a preserved environment”, never far from his grandparents’ farmhouse. “In Paris, I am subject to the wonder of my youth, with the wisdom of my 27 years. I am the perfect age to live here, but I know I was lucky enough to grow up in the South . “
“Being anti-corrida is part of my personality”
Alexia Arnault keeps, of course, an unforgettable memory of her year lived as Miss Alès and runner-up of Miss LanguedocRoussillon. Looking back, she still expresses “a lot of gratitude” for everything this experience has given her, “humanly, as well as personally. It gave me confidence.”
And to confide that she feels “always so proud to have represented Alès. I am happy to have taken part in this competition; if I had not done so, I would have regretted it …”
Sweeping aside the idea that a Miss election can be outdated or demeaning for the image of women, Alexia Arnault describes as “courageous” these candidates who parade and speak in front of an audience, with a sometimes engaged speech.
Moreover, of her coronation, the Vézénobrienne retains only one regret: “I am anti-corrida and I did not want to press on this point of my personality. I really regret not having taken advantage of my title to highlight before animal rights. It’s a part of me, like being a vegetarian for a long time. ”
Today, to the young ladies who would be tempted to participate in the election of Miss Alès, she launches: “Frankly, go for it!” Then, she concludes: “The Misses taught me one thing: when you are determined in what you want, you get there …”

Towards the seventh art
Ile-de-France appears to be a good way to “boost” its projects. However, projects, precisely, Alexia Arnault has in abundance. Her modeling photos, she has chained them, as evidenced by her publications on social networks. “There, I come out of a casting (for a big luxury brand, Editor’s note). And, as soon as this school year begins, I’m going to get back to it all “, she says.
The former Miss Alès also focuses her attention on the seventh art. “I discovered this environment this year, she explains. In May and June, I was an understudy for Daliland, a film about Dali, with Ben Kingsley. Exteriors were shot in Collioure and they were looking for a tall blonde for an understudy for the actress playing Amanda Lear. “ At this “great experience”, “an enchanted parenthesis”, were added some figurations for Arte realizations.
“That no one follows me for my passion”
At the same time, she is also looking at the automobile, her “passion”. Moreover, on the web, Alexia Arnault shares a lot of content referring to it. “The people who follow me now don’t know me as Miss, but rather because I post car related posts.” Do not tell her that she is taking the path to become an “influencer”, she hates that term …
La Gardoise, beauty queen at the foot of the Cévennes, is going through a phase of development, both professional and personal. It is built. His dream ? “That no one follows me just because I am Alexia, a 1.80 m blonde, but for my passion, she replies. And, there, I’m curious to see what Paris can bring me… “ But the call of the Gard remains significant: “There is always a part of me in the South. My amazed eyes are in Paris, and my heart is in Vézénobres.”
