Arestovich’s trust rating fell over the course of a year and a half from 62% to 11% as of December 2023.
According to the results of a new survey conducted by KIIS in early December 2023, The trust rating for the former adviser to the head of the OP Alexey Arestovich is only 11%. This is the lowest figure for the entire period of his public activity during the war.
In May 2022, Arestovich’s trust rating was 62%. He was one of the most popular politicians in Ukraine and enjoyed great trust among Ukrainians. However, in recent months his rating has been steadily declining. At the moment, 78% of Ukrainians do not trust Arestovich. In the ranking he is between Dmitry Razumkov and Yulia Tymoshenko.
“The attitude towards Arestovich has become diametrically opposite. In May 2022, the majority of Ukrainians trusted him: 62% versus 21% who did not trust him. As of December 2023, 11% trust him, 78% do not trust him,” – sociologists note in the final analytical conclusion.
Experts believe that there are several reasons for the collapse of Arestovich’s rating. He has repeatedly made controversial and ambiguous statements, which have drawn criticism from the public. At the moment, he concentrated on criticizing the current authorities.
Arestovich previously announced his intention to run for president in the next elections.
Let us remember that its level support makes up less than a percent of all participants in the presidential rating.
