These seminars, held at Al-Haq Mosque in Bashayer Al-Khair, Al-Rahma Mosque in Abu Youssef in Al-Ajmi, and the Eastern City Mosque in Sidi Bishr Bahri, aim to empower citizens with accurate data and foster healthier family practices.
The sessions were lead by prominent medical professionals, including Dr. Nahi Fathi Hilal and Sabreen Adel, media officials from the West and Al-Ajmi Medical Departments, as well as Dr. Khaled Alaa and Dr. Abdul Rahman Tariq from the Montazah Medical District. 1.The vision Behind the Campaign
Editor: Dr. samir, thank you for joining us. Could you start by explaining the driving force behind this initiative and why mosques were chosen as the venues?
Dr. Layla samir: Thank you for having me. The campaign stems from a growing need to address reproductive health issues and population challenges in Egypt.Mosques were selected as they are central to community life and serve as trusted spaces for dialog. By partnering with religious leaders, we can reach a wider audience and ensure that accurate, culturally sensitive data is shared.

Ensuring adequate spacing between births reduces health risks and allows families to better manage their resources. The campaign educates participants about the available contraceptive methods and emphasizes the importance of informed decision-making. It’s about empowering families to take control of their futures.
