Alexandra M. Veilleux is the Liberal candidate in Maskinongé

Alexandra M. Veilleux will be the candidate of the Quebec Liberal Party in the riding of Maskinongé for the 2022 elections.

Doctor of philosophy from UQTR and mother of three children, Alexandra M. Veilleux is a professor of psychology at Collège Laflèche, a lecturer in philosophy at UQTR and recognized for her expertise in public policy on education. Her research has focused on educational justice and equity, as well as stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination.

“Like too many Quebecers, I lost loved ones in CHSLDs during the pandemic. Our seniors are too often left to their own devices. With all the energy, heart and determination that drive me, I want to defend the interests of Maskinongé in the National Assembly. Our labor-strapped farmers, our young families without child care, and our neglected seniors deserve better. Quebec deserves better,” said candidate Alexandra M. Veilleux.

The leader of the party, Dominique Anglade, was passing this Sunday, May 5 at the Maison du salesman in Louiseville to present his candidacy.

Alexandra is a woman who is committed and determined to deliver the best of herself to build a Quebec where education and social justice are at the forefront of national priorities, said Ms. Anglade. His expertise in this area will be a considerable asset for our political formation. Being involved locally, I am certain that she will be able to win the trust of the citizens of Maskinongé. »
