Thetfordoise Alexandra Côté and her two dogs named Tesla and Louka literally amazed the judges as well as the public present at the hearings of the 16e edition of America’s Got Talent broadcast on NBC network.
During the show presented on Tuesday, June 29 in the evening, the young woman offered a number of high canine aerobatics. Several acrobatics were first performed by Tesla, then Louka made a surprise arrival during the jump rope stage.
“We met Tesla and who is this?” Simon Cowell asked the participant first, referring to Louka. “I think this is my favorite dog number so far this season,” he continued.
What he liked about Tesla was seeing that she was having fun. “I think the three of you are going to do very well in this competition,” he said.
For her part, Heidi Klum added that she had the biggest smiles on her face. “Tesla could also be partly a kangaroo. She just blows up like that. It was adorable! “
Sofia Vergara said she would have liked the performance to continue and that it was fantastic, which Howie Mandel agreed. “We often see dog acts, but I’ve seen you do some unique tricks. It was more energetic and more in sync than any other act with animals we’ve seen in America’s Got Talent story. “
The four judges therefore voted a big “YES”, which means that Alexandra Côté will take the next step.
Although she cannot give details for the moment on the continuation of things, Alexandra Côté told Courrier Frontenac to be very happy with the turn of events. ” I am really happy. The editing was perfect and I am living a dream. “
She also said she was amazed by the ovation she and her faithful companions received at the end of the issue. ” I do not believe it! “
Since the broadcast, positive comments have been flowing from everywhere via social networks. “I am so touched by the messages. It’s been a lot of promotion for my business to the point where I don’t know when I’m going to have the time to answer all these people, ”she added.
Remember that Alexandra Côté opened her dog training center in August 2020. Animal lovers also had the chance to see her on the programs “Animania” on TVA and “Cochon dingue” on Télé-Québec.
A unique experience
The dog training enthusiast participated in the auditions on April 23. It was via social networks that she was approached by a researcher who is in the United States to be part of this adventure.
The process got under way very quickly. Traveling during a pandemic, however, caused him a lot of headaches due to the complexity of transporting his two Border Collies.
Upon her return, Alexandra had mentioned to the newspaper that she was hyper-impressed by the whole organization around this popular show. Despite the change of scenery and the long hours, Tesla and Louka met expectations very well.
It goes without saying that this experience will remain etched in his memory forever. “I am really moved to have lived this and especially to have had this chance. If I had to do it again, I would go back, ”she concluded without hesitation.
