Rüth succeeds Professor Christian Schmid (44), who has been Domkapellmeister in Würzburg since September 1, 2013 and will become full-time professor for choral conducting at the University of Church Music of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart in the winter semester 2022/23.
