“Today, one of the deputies of the Kyiv City Council … Oleksandr Omelchenko is in the hospital, in such, you know, a difficult condition, taking into account both the age and the percentage of lung damage. We wish him a speedy recovery and wait again in our hall,” Klitschko said.
He also called on officials to comply with quarantine measures. In addition, the mayor noted that the epidemiological situation in the capital has improved slightly.
It is known that Alexander Omelchenko served as the mayor of Kiev from 1995 to 2006. Now he is 83 years old and he is a member of the Kiev City Council (since 2014).
