Amur forward Alexander Khokhlachev was fined a month’s salary for his behavior, which is about 6.5 million rubles, Telegram channel 112 reports.
After Friday’s defeat to Ak Bars in the KHL in Khabarovsk, Khokhlachev jumped onto a local resident’s car. On Monday morning, Amur apologized to fans on its social networks for the hockey player’s behavior and announced that the player would be fined, without specifying the amount of the fine.
According to the source, the fine can be canceled if the player performs well in the next away series, which Amur begins on Tuesday against Traktor in Chelyabinsk.
Khokhlachev became a player for Amur at the end of August, having previously played for Spartak Moscow. This season, the 30-year-old forward has failed to score in 11 matches.
