Former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Alexander Khatskevich commented recent statements about himself from his ex-assistant on the coaching staff of the “white-blues” Oleg Luzhny.
“I was invited to an interesting project, and Khatskevich assured that we were building a super-team. However, it later became clear that Alexander’s promises were not true.”– Luzhny’s statement.
Khatskevich: “I had the opportunity to work with a real professional, as he says.” But I know one thing: that if you do good to a person, then you need to move to a safe distance, otherwise a wave of gratitude may cover you. That’s what I can say.
“He invited players to Dynamo who were not even close to the level of the club and the tasks set. There were opportunities to improve qualitatively and get good results at Dynamo back then.”– Luzhny’s statement.
Khatskevich: – Then let him bring the list of football players I invited. Maybe he had some options. But I have not heard a single proposal from him to strengthen our team. Oh, no, there was one thing. It was left back Vasily Kravets at the time when Pivarich and Mikolenko played in this position.
